Chetwynd RCMP are asking for the public’s help in locating a missing man who hasn’t been seen since Nov. 2019.
On Sunday July 12, RCMP in Fort St. John received a missing persons report. An investigation began and as a result Chetwynd RCMP were asked to follow up with contacts of 35-year-old William Bird in the area. All efforts to locate William have been unsuccessful so far.
Bird is originally from Manitoba but may have friends and family in the province. Family, friends and police are also concerned for his well being, its been reported that he lives a high risk life style.
Bird is described as, an Indigenous male, 6′, large build, brown eyes and black hair. If anyone has information about his whereabouts you’re asked to contact the Chetwynd RCMP or you can do so anonymously through Crime Stoppers.
