Four people are lucky to be alive following a truck flipping into the ditch where it became engulfed in flames near Nazko B.C.
On July 19, early in the afternoon Quesnel RCMP responded to a single vehicle rollover 110 km west of Quesnel. Citizens of the area were assisting while emergency crews were headed towards the scene.
The four people in the vehicle were removed before the vehicle caught fire. One person was transported to hospital with non-life threatening injuries and the other three were treated for minor injuries. As the truck was burning local residents were using fire extinguishers to stop it from spreading to the forest. Emergency crews then worked to put out the brush fire.
Alcohol is believed to be a factor and the investigation is still ongoing.
