Time is running out for Cariboo residents affected by this summer’s flooding to apply for financial help.
Flooding from July 6-18 impacted a number of residents in the Cariboo Regional District.
Those within the CRD and Tsilhqot’in National Government areas may be eligible for Disaster Financial Assistance.
Assistane is available to homeowners, residential tenants, small business owners, farmers, charitable organizations and local governments that were unable to obtain insurance to cover their disaster-related losses.
Applications need to be submitted to Emergency Management BC by Oct. 16, 2019.
