The Cariboo Regional District will be making the rounds at the UBCM this week.
CRD Directors will sit down with provincial government officials to talk about developing emergency escape routes for Wells and the Horsefly/Likely areas.
Improving access to broadband internet in reural areas, fixing West Fraser Road, and more support for rural policing and crime prevention are also on the CRD’s ask list.
The board has submitted nine resolutions for endorsement at UBCM.
The convention runs until September 27.
