Lightning is being blamed for 10 small fires which sprouted up in the Cariboo yesterday.
Nine of the fires popped up between Williams Lake and 100 Mile House, west of Highway 97, while another sparked near Big Creek Provincial Park.
Following aerial assessments, the BC Wildfire Service says they are confident that the fires will remain small.
None the less, they will be sending 17 firefighters to tend to and monitor the blazes.
