A Prince George man has completed a nearly month-long run to promote a better future for Indigenous women in the northwest.
Adam Prytula departed Prince George on May 15th to run the Highway of Tears between the City and Prince Rupert.
He called his journey the Highway of Hope run, using it to emphasize a bright future, and accomplishments over adversity.
Prytula said that he had to push himself further through pain each day to accomplish his task, which he says shows that pain is only temporary when reaching for a bright future.
He wrapped up the nearly 700 km run in Prince Rupert on June 4th and is now back home in Prince George.
