RCMP say a 59 year-old woman from the Peace Region died in a crash south of Dawson Creek Wednesday morning.
Police say the woman was at the wheel of a south-bound Jeep Cherokee that collided with a north-bound Ford F-550 service truck along Highway 97 shortly before 8:00 a.m.
The 36 year-old man driving the service truck suffered minor injuries in the crash, which took place between 229 and 235 Roads.
Peace Region Traffic Services (PRTS), the Integrated Collision Analysis and Reconstruction Service, and the BC Coroners Service are investigating the crash.
