Terrace RCMP have launched an investigation in to a homicide following the stabbing of an 85 year-old man.
Late last night, police received reports of a suspicious blood-clad vehicle in the downtown area.
Officers were able to locate the vehicle, which led them to an address on the 4700 block of Soucie Avenue.
When they arrived, police discovered an unconscious 85 year-old man with apparent stab wounds.
He was transported to hospital, where he was declared dead shortly after.
A 34 year-old woman who is known to the victim has been arrested in connection to the incident and remains in police custody.
