Heavy snow is expected to continue across many areas of northern B.C. Friday and Saturday.
Environment Canada has issued snowfall warnings for the North Coast, Bulkley Valley and the Lakes, Peace River, Prince George Pine Pass, and Cariboo.
The Stewart area could see up to 30 cm of snow by Saturday, between 10 and 20 cm could fall in the Bulkley Valley-Lakes and Peace region, and the Pine Pass could be tough to travel with 15 to 25 cm of snow expected to hit the ground.
Forecasters say the Quesnel and Williams Lake regions can expect the snow to start Friday morning with accumulations of 15-25 cm.
In addition to heavy snow, the system will also produce strong winds which could restrict visibility.
The snow is expected to ease up Saturday as the weather system moves into Alberta.
