RCMP are continuing to look for a woman reported missing from New Hazelton.
Despite a Christmas day search involving Bulkley Valley Search and Rescue and Silver King Helicopters, police have not found 50-year-old Cynthia Martin.
Martin was last seen at about 9 p.m. December 23rd in New Hazelton.
Cynthia is described as an Indigenous female, with brown eyes, black shoulder-length hair, standing 5’3″ tall and weighing 135 pounds.
She was last seen wearing a grey jacket and dark pants.
Investigators say there is nothing to indicate foul play, but RCMP say they are very concerned for Cynthia’s health and well-being.
Friends and family say it is out of character for her to be out of contact for this long.
Contact police or Crime Stoppers if you know where Cynthia Martin is.
