Vancouver Island isn’t the only area dealing with power outages the day before Christmas
BC Hydro says over a thousand customers are without electricity in and around Masset and Old Massett.
The power went out at approximately 7:30 Monday morning.
BC Hydro says it’s investigating the outage and crews are en route.
There is currently no time estimate for restoring the power.
