Just days before their May 31st deadline for a Trans Mountain Pipeline decision, Kinder Morgan will now have to manage another issue.
The company temporarily shut down an existing stretch of the pipeline at its Darfield station, north of Kamloops, for several hours yesterday.
According the the BC Ministry of the Environment, around 100 litres of crude oil leaked out before the pipeline could be shut down.
No waterways were affected and the spill was contained to the station.
