You Are Not Alone: Support for Families Affected by Mental Illness
Do you have a loved one living with a mental illness? It can be hard to know where to turn, but you don’t have to face it alone.
The British Columbia Schizophrenia Society (BCSS) offers a Family Support Group in Terrace, open to anyone who wants to connect, share experiences, and find understanding. You can join in person or online, whichever works best for you.
When: Every 3rd Tuesday of the month
Time: 6:00 – 7:30 PM (PST)
Where: In-person in Terrace or online via Zoom
Groups meet every month except July and August.
Families from across the Northwest region are welcome, including those in Terrace, Thornhill, Kitsumkalum, Kitselas Territories, Nass Valley, Gitlaxt’aamiks, Gitwinksihlkw, Laxgalts’ap, Gingolx, Kitimat, Kitamaat Village, Prince Rupert, Haida Gwaii, and the Bulkley Valley.
If you or someone you know could use a bit of extra support, please share this post or reach out to the BC Schizophrenia Society to learn more. Together, we can make a difference.
