After three days of scorching heat, temperatures in the Northwest will level off today, but remain relatively high in the Northeast.
There are no special weather statements or advisories in place, but heavy rain is expected across the north.
In the northeast, showers will become thundershowers, and temperatures are predicted to stay in the mid to high 20s.
Meanwhile, flood risks remain low for the northwest, but the River Forecast Centre is maintaining a number of advisories.
A High Streamflow Advisory covering the Nechako River has been upgraded to a Flood Watch, and a Flood Warning covering the Quesnel River remains in place.
High Streamflow Advisories are also in effect, covering the Upper Fraser in the Robson Valley, Fraser River from Quesnel to Prince George, streams and tributaries near Nazko, and the Central Coast.
River Flows in the Skeena and Bulkley are still predicted to settle in the 2 year range this week, but could jump as high as 20 year levels early next week.
