The District of Kitimat has announced that a road closure in Kitimat will be going into effect later this week.
On Friday, Haisla Boulevard, between Kingfisher Avenue and Lahakas Boulevard, is going to be closed for road maintenance between 9 AM to 11 AM.
The reason for the closure is to get some maintenance done before Saturday’s hill climb community event.
Detours will also be in effect while the closure is in place.
