Four British Columbians and two Albertans could be facing charges following a drug trafficking investigation in Dawson Creek last month.
On April 1st, RCMP executed a search warrant at a residence and seized approximately four ounces of suspected heroin and fentanyl.
They also seized a luxury sedan, two firearms, ammunition, and a number of items associated with the drug trade.
On the next day, police executed a search warrant at a separate residence in relation to a stolen vehicle investigation.
During that search, officers seized over 7 ounces of suspected meth and fentanyl, and smaller amounts of pre-packaged cocaine and crack-cocaine.
Over the course of the two day investigation, police seized over $60,000 worth of illicit drugs, multiple firearms, a stolen pick-up truck, and two other vehicles.
Charges have been recommended to the Prosecution Service against four Dawson Creek locals and two Albertans.
