This week happens to be National Nursing week and BC’s Health Minister, Adrian Dix, has issued a statement in regards to the week.
Dix said that the week provides great opportunities for BC residents and people all over the world to recognize and understand just how important every type of nurse is to the public health system.
He also mentioned that the government is one of the entities that values all the work nurses do to keep BC residents healthy and applauded the work they’ve done during the Pandemic.
Part of Dix’s statement included the announcement of 602 new nursing seats getting added to post secondary institutions throughout BC.
Dix again made sure to give his thanks to the nurses who consistently give their patients the best care possible.
