Next week is Emergency Preparedness Week, and the District of Kitimat will be honouring that by testing their alert system.
A test alert is set to be sent out from their emergency notification system at 11:00 Tuesday morning.
Residents who have not already are encourages to sign up for the District’s new VoyentAlert system.
Those who were previously enrolled in the RapidNotify system will still receive critical alerts, but may miss other valuable notices.
