February 3rd COVID-19 update

British Columbia is reporting 1,776 new cases of Covid-19, as of last night.

The province’s active case total has come down to 25,959, with 988 in hospital, and 136 in ICU.

Of the new cases, 197 come from Northern Health, while 602 come from the Interior.

18 new deaths were reported, with none in Northern and only one in the Interior Health.

There are currently 54 active outbreaks at health care facilities province wide, though none are in the North.
