Yet another winter storm is headed to the North Coast today, which has led to warnings about road conditions on Highway 16.
The North Coast, mainly covering Terrace and Stewart, has been hit with a winter storm warning along with a potential for freezing Rain as well.
These conditions have resulted in multiple warnings being put into effect on Highway 16.
One is an adverse weather warning for black ice and freezing rain between Prince Rupert and Terrace.
A travel advisory has also been put into effect between Terrace and Prince Rupert, which is suggesting drivers steer clear of that area of Highway 16 due to the conditions.
There is another travel advisory in effect between Kitimat and Terrace on Highway 37 warning of both snow and freezing rain.
Drivers are being advised to be cautious and look for alternate routes.
