Funding is being made available to those wishing to participate in the Environmental Assessment of Cedar LNG.
Cedar LNG is a small-scale floating LNG facility planned for Kitimat, which would produce 3 to 4 tonnes of LNG annually, with a life span of about 25 years.
Currently, the project is undergoing Environmental and Impact Assessments, and Ottawa is looking for public and Indigenous input.
In order to help interested parties assist in the process, Ottawa is making funding available via the Impact Assessment Agency of Canada.
Applications must be sent in by February 25th via email to the address fp-paf@iaac-aeic.gc.ca or by calling 1-866-582-1884.
