January 25th Covid-19 Update

British Columbia is reporting 4,997 new cases of Covid-19 over the three day period between Friday and Sunday.

That works out to an average of 1,665 cases per day.

It brings the province’s active case total to 31,822, with 987 in hospital, and 129 in ICU.

Of the new cases, 555 come from Northern Health, while 1,251 are from the Interior.

24 new deaths were reported across the three days, with two in the North, and one in the Interior.
