Quesnel RCMP have charged a man in relation to a stabbing from last Wednesday.
At around 5:30 Wednesday evening, BCEHS notified police of a man who was in need of urgent medical attention.
When they arrived on the 400 block of Reid Street, they found the man suffering from stab wounds, and helped transport him to hospital with serious injuries.
Now, RCMP have arrested 44 year-old Leif Myltoft in relation to the stabbing.
Myltoft is facing charges of aggravated assault, and two counts of carrying a weapon for a dangerous purpose.
Both the victim and suspect are known to each other, and an investigation is on-going.
