January 21st Covid-19 Update

British Columbia is reporting 2,150 new cases of Covid-19, as of last night.

That brings the province’s active case total to 34,835, with 891 in hospital, and 119 in ICU.

Of the new cases, 203 come from Northern Health, while 563 are from the Interior.

15 new deaths were reported, with none in the North, and two in the Interior.

There are now 58 active outbreaks across the province, as 8 more were declared yesterday, though none are in the North.
