While the roads have made significant improvements compared to the last few days, there are still some lingering messy sections.
A travel advisory remains in place today on the Nisga’a Highway, from Terrace to the Nass Road change over.
Drivers are also being warned of sections of compact snow on Highway 16 between Prince Rupert and Cedarvale, and on Highway 37 between Kitimat and Terrace.
Avalanche control work will also slow things down on Highway 37, beginning at the Bell II Bridge at 2:00 this afternoon.
Similar avalanche control work on Highway 37A will be causing major delays between the Cottonwood River Bridge and Good Hope Lake, until 3:30 this afternoon.
