Many Prince Rupert Residents Will Face Planned Power Outage Sunday Morning

Many Prince Rupert customers will find themselves without power on Sunday morning, due to a planned outage.

BC Hydro says close to 4,000 customers will be affected as they cut the power at the Oldfield Substation for repair work.

Power is scheduled to down at around 1:00 in the morning, and be back in about 3 hours.

Impacted customers should have received an e-mail, phone call, or letter notifying them of the outage.
