Bag-free recycling is on its way for those serviced by the Regional District of Kitimat Stikine.
Beginning on November 29th, residents will no longer be required to bag their recycled goods when placed out for collection.
Instead, they are asked to place all of their recyclable goods in a secure collection container with a lid.
Extra goods may still be put in bags and left with your collection bin, as there is no limit on the amount of goods which can be put out.
It’s another step in the District’s plan to fully integrate its curbside collection program with Recycle BCs.
