Updated rules for adults that are looking to coach youth sports have just been released with the biggest change being that the coaches need to be fully vaccinated.
Health Minister Adrian Dix sent out a statement saying that these new rules reflect the need to have fully vaccinated people in these settings since they have less structure than say, a workplace.
These changes come at the same time as BC reporting 758 new COVID cases and 10 more deaths in the province.
The Health Ministry sent out a statement of their own saying that there are around 5,000 active COVID cases in BC, along with 434 of these cases needing to be in the hospital and 155 being put in the ICU.
