Dawson Creek Death No Longer Deemed Suspicious

Following an extensive investigation, RCMP no longer believe a death from last week to be suspicious.

Dawson Creek RCMP were initially called to perform a wellness check on 104th Avenue, were they found the deceased.

As the cause of death was not immediately apparent, police launched an investigation in to his death, labeling it suspicious.

After completing their investigation alongside other RCMP units, they determined the death was not suspicious.

All evidence has been turned over to the BC Coroners Service.
