RCMP have begun a homicide investigation following the discovery of a dead body in 100 Mile House on Tuesday.
Initially, officers arrived at Exeter Station Road to investigate reports of gunshots being heard in the area.
Upon investigation, they discovered one individual who had died of undisclosed injuries.
Police now believe the individual’s death to be a homicide, and have launched an investigation in to the cause of their death.
