A handy service which can help access a broad range of free services using nothing but a phone call, can now be accessed across all of BC.
United Way of Northern BC has officially expanded their 2-1-1 service to the North.
Residents can use the service by dialing 2-1-1 to get free, confidential, information and referrals to a range of services and supports, including: mental health an addictions support, food and shelter supports, legal and financial assistance, senior supports, and more.
With the introduction of Northern support, the service now covers all of BC and the majority of Canada.
The service is available 24/7 and can be accessed via both call and text.
