Office of the Wet’suwet’en Announces Temporary Closure Due to Covid

In an effort to quell the spread of Covid-19, the Office of the Wet’suwet’en will be temporarily shutting its doors.

According to an announcement by the Executive Committee, all programs, activities, and services sanctioned by the Office are to cease immediately.

The temporary closure will be in place until at least October 31st, and may be extended to November 10th, if needed.

In the release, the Office says the safety and wellness of their staff and members are paramount, and led to the decision to initiate the closure.
