October 21st Covid-19 Update

British Columbia is reporting 696 new cases of Covid-19, as of last night.

That brings the total number of active cases in the province to 4,888, with 139 in ICU.

Of the new cases 191 are within Northern Health’s boundaries, and 118 are from the Interior.

Six new deaths were reported, with none in the North or Interior.

We’re back up to 24 active outbreaks, with a double vaccination rate of 84 percent of eligible residents.
