Those looking to acquire business licenses in Quesnel now have new guidelines to follow.
City Council was presented with the new changes to the licensing bylaw at yesterday’s regular meeting.
Those changes include: new and clearer language, more easily interpreted definitions, and new clarifications for non-profits.
But the biggest change comes by way of a new business licensing requirement for commercial landlords, which will be waived for one year as a courtesy.
Business licensing costs could be subject to further increases when council receives their master fees report.
