Some LifeLabs locations in BC will affected by rotating closures as a number of its employees have filed a strike notice.
LifeLabs employees represented by the BC Government Service Employees’ Union have served a 72-hour strike notice.
According to a release from LifeLabs, they have being negotiating with the Union since April, and while they have agreed on many points, the most recent snag could not be ignored.
Deemed an essential service, LifeLabs locations will remain open, though some locations will be hit with rolling closures beginning on Monday.
