October 19th Covid-19 Update

British Columbia is reporting 1,846 new cases of Covid-19 over the three day period between Friday and Sunday.

That brings the province’s active total to 4,917, with 151 in ICU.

Of the new cases, 406 are from Northern Health, while 322 come from the Interior.

26 new deaths were reported over the 72 hour period, with five in the North, and five in the Interior.

84 percent of eligible British Columbians have received two vaccinations.
