Northern Health has declared a new Covid outbreak at the GR Baker Memorial Hospital in Quesnel.
Lab testing has confirmed two positive cases among inpatients, as well as two staff members.
As a result, the Authority has decided to declare the outbreak covering the Inpatient Unit at the Hospital.
Under the declaration, visitors will be limited to essential-only, cleaning and sanitization efforts will increase, and enhanced symptom testing will take place.
The outbreak brings the total active in the province to 20, with three others in the North, two at the University Hospital of Northern BC, and one at Wrinch Memorial in Hazelton.
