One outbreak has been replaced with another in the Interior as Covid continues to spike across the region.
An outbreak which had been in place since late July at the Royal Inland Hospital has been declared over, following at least 10 cases.
Replacing it is a new outbreak at the Haven Hill Retirement Centre in Penticton.
There are currently 17 active outbreaks in the province, with eight being in the Northern Health and Interior Health Authorities.
In the North, there are two active outbreaks at the University Hospital of Northern BC in Prince George, and one at Wrinch Memorial in Hazelton.
For Interior Health, outbreaks are also active at the Cottonwoods Care Centre, Joseph Creek Care Village, Overlander, and Village by the Station facilities.
