Amid calls for her dismissal, the head of the Fort St John Hospital Foundation has stepped down.
Earlier in the month, residents began calling for her resignation after she was caught at an anti-vaccine card rally in the City.
Niki Hedges has filled the role of Executive director for the Foundation since 2018.
Following the public outcry, a private meeting was reportedly held with the Board, in which she was given guidelines to keep her position.
While it is not clear what those guidelines were or whether she broke them, Hedges announced her resignation yesterday.
