Fort St John RCMP are asking for public assistance in locating a man wanted on a number of charges.
28 year-old Michael Stafford is wanted on four counts of breach of release, one of forcible entry, and one of assault.
Stafford is described as a 6 foot 2 inch Caucasian man, weighing 159 pounds, with brown eyes and hair, and a slender build.
Stafford was last seen in Fort St John, when officers attempted to arrest him before he fled in a vehicle driven by another man.
Police tracked him to a home in Fort St John, but he was not there when they arrived, and police have no other leads.
If you see Stafford, you are asked not to confront him, but instead to contact your local RCMP.
