A majority of people who are planning on visiting BC public schools are being asked to call ahead of time since school Principals have been asked to lock their school’s doors.
The reason for this is because last Friday, multiple adult anti Vaccine protesters made their way into 2 elementary schools as well as a secondary school to try and spread their message.
A statement was sent out saying that BC’s school districts were confident in their ability to lift their measures taken to secure their schools but regardless, multiple school were being recommended to limit their entry points as well as keep their main entrances locked after the opening bell.
Visitors are being encouraged to phone their school’s staff ahead of time in order to get access, and apparently the RCMP are getting in terms of making sure that protesters don’t get into any schools again.
