British Columbia is reporting 1,984 new cases of Covid-19 for the period between September 10th and the 13th.
In total there are now 5,825 active cases across the province.
542 of the new cases are in the Interior, and just under 300 are in the North.
Nine new deaths were declared over that time, with three in the Interior and none in the North.
More than 85 percent of BC residents are double vaccinated, with the new vaccine card restrictions now in place.
Interior Health Restrictions Loosen
Interior Health has decided to loosen some of their public gathering restrictions, in light of BC`s new vaccine card.
So long as they show proof they are fully vaccinated, residents will now be able to attend indoor events that include 50 people or half of the event location`s capacity, and outdoor events including 5,000 people, or half the venue`s capacity.
Until October 24th, those with proof of a single vaccination will also be able to attend indoor events with up to 50 people, and outdoor events with up to 100.
Gatherings in vacation rentals is still capped at 5 or one household, and outdoor gatherings are still capped at 50.
