The National Police Federation released a report earlier today detailing the results of a survey that determined what people think of the RCMP enforced supreme court injunctions that allow for old growth logging.
And the numbers came back saying that 82 percent of British Columbia residents agree with the RCMP being able to enforce these injunctions.
In addition to those results, nearly 3 out of 4 people agree that protesters should respect the Pacheedaht First Nation’s request for them to leave their territory, even though 77 percent of the people that took the survey also believe that protesting is a big part of democracy.
This online survey that took the answers of 800 B.C. adults was conducted by Pollara Strategic Insights from August 30th to September 2nd.
