Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women and Girls Terrace Walk
A walk took place from Terrace city hall to the memorial pole on Highway 16.
The walk took place on May 5, the Day of Awareness for Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women and Girls. The walk is to honour and remember the Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women and Girls.
Gladys Radek hopes to see the government do more for the issue. She says she wants to see the government implement the 231 calls to justice from the National Inquiry and to implement the B.C. Women’s Inquiry and all the recommendations.
Radek hopes to raise more awareness about Missing and Murdered people in hopes that more people will listen and more people will do something about it.
