As cases begin to rise in the surrounding area, Kitsumkalum Leadership and Emergency Response Team has decided to close House of Sim-oi-Ghets Gift Store and Kitsumkalum Tempo Gas bar for two weeks.
In a press release the Leadership and Emergency Response Team says that the safety of the community is the priority.
The situation will be re-evaluated on January 12th for a tentative January 14th re-opening for both of the community-owned businesses.
