Northern Health has provided an update regarding the ongoing Covid-19 outbreak at the LNG Canada Project Site in Kitimat.
As of December 8 two more people have tested positive for the virus since the December 1 update.
Six cases remain active from this outbreak. There are currently no individuals self-isolating at the project site, the six individuals are self-isolating off site or in their own communities.
Contact management and tracing continues, there is also no public exposure in Kitimat or the surrounding areas.
