The District of Kitimat has issued a water quality advisory.
The announcement came yesterday due to elevated levels of turbidity in the Kitimat River.
Northern Health is recommending that children, pregnant women, the elderly and people with weakened immune systems drink boiled water.
There is currently no evidence of increased risk to water users, additional testing is being done.
