A local state of emergency remains in effect in the Nass Valley as Covid-19 cases continue to rise.
The Nisga’a Lisims Government made the announcement November 26th after a number of cases were traced to a couple of family gatherings in Gitlaaxta’aamiks.
The Nisga’a Valley Health says there have been 7 new infections as of Sunday, bringing the total number of cases to 31.
