An update has been released regarding the Covid-19 outbreak at the LNG Canada Project Site in Kitimat.
As of today, 43 employees associated with this outbreak have tested positive for Covid-19, which is an increase of two since November 23. There are currently 34 active cases, nine are considered recovered.
On-site screening of employees and contact management and tracing are continuing. Northern Health, LNG Canada, and JGC Fluor continue to work closely together to ensure enhanced control measures are followed.
