Water quality advisory in effect for the District of Kitimat

Northern Health recommends that children, pregnant women, the elderly and persons with weakened immune systems drink boiled water at this time.

The advisory is being issued to all users of the Kitimat Water System due to elevated levels of turbidity in the Kitimat River.

The District is working with Northern Health on this matter.
